Wastewater Association Zirl
and the surrounding area counts 14 communities. The wastewater
treatment
plant has a capacity of 61,500 people equivanlents
(PE), the sewer network covers a total
length
of 50 km. The
following challenges were mastered in the project: - Complete
renewal of the EMSR plants in the sewage treatment plant and the sewer network - Migration
and implementation during full operation of plant
- Migration
of the existing control technology to WinCC OA (redundant) - Integration
of 21 outdoor facilities in parallel fiber optic and cellular - Renewal
/ programming of the controls from WAGO / ABB to SIMATIC S7-1500 - Installation
of 56 energy meters, service
and maintenance management with COMOS MRO
- Secure,
redundant data transmission - Hardware and software from a single source - Low
risk of data loss due to data buffering, central,
intuitive (remote) control and an individual software interface - Lower
susceptibility to failure with existing plant technology, identical
data base for operation and maintenance / servicing - Identical
data base for operation and maintenance / servicing
