Maka Systems GmbH is a supplier of systems in the field of mechanical engineering for CNC special machines in wood, aluminum and plastic processing, as well as model making. The company employs approximately 150 people and is based in Nersingen, Germany. Objectives: 

• Check the feasibility of the project for the offer at an early stage

• Reduction of ramp-up time of the actual machine

• Training sessions and intensive support during implementation of the digital twin (DT) 
• Use of Create MyVirtual Machine and Run MyVirtual Machine for the SINUMERIK ONE 
• A complete DT with mechanical system, kinematics and signal supply can be created within one week 
• DT can also be used by end customers

The PM270 5-axis moving gantry milling center is used for machining laminated wood and glass-fiber reinforced plastic. The SINUMERIK ONE CNC system was designed in advance as a digital twin using "Create and Run MyVirtual Machine".
