The objective was to develop a complete handling line for the food & beverage sector, combining high performance, energy efficiency, and advanced automation.

The solution features:

• A complete handling line with delta robots and conveyor tracking.
• Delta robots are treated as technological objects fully integrated into the TIA Portal programming environment.
• Pick-and-place movements with conveyor tracking were implemented using Siemens libraries and simulated/tested with the integrated 3D tool in TIA Portal.
• The SIMATIC S7-1500T controller manages logic, safety, and axis control.
• Axis motion is handled by Sinamics S210 drives, which offer:

  • Braking energy recovery via a shared DC bus
