Paul
Hartmann AG had asked Siemens to provide Cybersecurity consulting to help boost
growth even further through digitalized processes and integration. A
IEC 62443 Gap Assessment was a key element in this project.
Cybersecurity
for production through IEC 62443 Gap Assessment
Identify security gaps in the
system to compare the current implementation against IEC 62443 requirements
Evaluate alignment with target
security levels (SLs) using structured checklists based on IEC 62443-3-3 and
4-2
Prioritize technical and
organizational improvements based on risk exposure, implementation effort, and
compliance needs
Development of a three-year roadmap
with concrete projects and tailored technology implementations based on the
assessment results
Paul Hartmann AG received a clear, neutral and holistic picture of its degree of maturity with regard to digitalization.
As part of this, the assessment
identified the current cybersecurity status of the facility in Herbrechtingen plant and produced a roadmap with an action plan to improve the security status
Hartmann is a leading international manufacturer of medical and hygiene products. In 2018, they employed 11,027 staff worldwide and generated sales of EUR 2,119
