The main transfer station Veitshöchheim serves as a transfer station for the municipal area of Veitshöchheim. As part of the construction of the new medium-voltage switchgear, the existing air-insulated switchgear was replaced by a new, environmentally friendly gas-insulated switchgear that does not use the climate-damaging SF6 gas. The existing building could be used without structural changes, as it already met the arc fault qualification. The challenge was to manage the entire process from technical clarification to commissioning of the switchgear in a timely and smooth manner to ensure the system could be handed over and put into operation as quickly as possible.
New F-gas-free medium-voltage switchgear blue GIS NXPLUS C24 with single busbar (13 fields).
Clean Air as an insulating medium, consisting of naturally occurring gases and thus without SF6 or other F-gases.
New protection technology SIPROTEC 5 (7SX85).
Pressure relief duct, thus no pressure load on the building in case of a fault, and additional highest personal safety for the operating personnel.
Type test according to 26th BImSchV, HS-TE test.
Parameterization and commissioning.
