Denaturing of alcohol is achieved by using additives, which must be continuously and exactly metered.
SITRANS FC430 Coriolis flowmeter measures mass
flow of alcohol delivered, correct dosing of necessary denaturing additives and
finished denatured alcohol.
SITRANS FC430 also measures mass flow rate,
density and temperature of medium
“We are very pleased. The SITRANS FC430 is currently the most technologically advanced product on the market and offers optimum price and performance."
Erwin Halzinger, Donau Chemie Group
NAMUR-compliant outputs for easy integration into control systems
Extremely user-friendly interface reduces training costs and guarantees fast commissioning
Rugged housing and CompactCurve design guarantee ideal measurement environment, with 0.1% accuracy and 0.05% repeatability
Outstanding technical support and training from commissioning through operation
The family-owned Donau Chemie Group is a leader in the chemical industry. Their plant in Pischeldorf bei Tulln, Austria, receives bioethanol from a neighboring producer in Pischeldorf and denatures it for customs and financial reasons.
The Donau Chemie Group has purchased its magnetic inductive flow meters from Siemens since 2000. The company had used Coriolis meters from Siemens in the past and the SITRANS FC430 was first used in the fall of 2012.
