FFG Werke plant, Germany - Optimal parametrization with SINUMERIK Optimization Check
Optimal machine and
drive parametrization through SINUMERIK Optimization Check
Machine Building
FFG Werke GmbH
Eislingen Germany
FFG wanted Siemens to perform a configuration
analysis of a VDF 800 DUS turning machine to find
optimization potential in mechanical configuration, control and
parametrization.
Customer challenges:
Data migration
from power line to solution line
Standardization
of machine parametrization for a series production
Commissioning
and optimization of machines built on other factories
Siemens Service experts performed the following analysis:
Extensive
analysis of NC Archive, drive parametrization and Auto-Servo-Tuning (AST)
measurements
Provision of
results and optimization possibilities in form of a report
With use of
actual SINUMERIK Software, new functions and additional features can improve
precision and dynamics of the machine axes.
Improvement of
axis interpolation can also be achieved.
Results for
axis utilization of the feed axes will be taken into consideration for future
developments on the machine models.
