Greater Birmingham & Solihull Institute of Technology are developing innovative and agile training solutions for the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering sector. Agility requires a broad, but specialist training offer which supports employers to close skills gaps. This e-learning system is one element of Siemens' wider curriculum development and provides short upskilling options for engineers and technicians working in the sector. By awarding this project to an external provider, learners are able to acquire certificates which are recognized within the industry and support their career progression.
