For the buliding of a new plant, Brata contracted Derichs GmbH for the concept development, project managament and project control of the entire plant. Derichs manufactures high quality machines and components, but also builds complete plants in the food industry.
To ensure that the bread quality is consistently high and perfectly adapted to the respective breadcrumbs, Brata produces its own bread.
Accurate weighing and dosing is essential to guarantee a constant quality

The raw material dosing at the beginning of the dough production is carried out by a modified Siemens SITRANS WW200 weighfeeder as well as six Derichs loss-in-weight feeders with SIWAREX weighing electronics. In addition, three liquid components are dosed.
Besides the composition of the dough raw materials also the grain size and grain distribution are decisive for the subsequent end products. For this purpose, after the drying process the breadcrumbs are sieved in two stages with ten different fractions. According to product requirements, these can be mixed together individually by means of ten weighfeeders SITRANS WW100.
In addition, 21 SIWAREX DB junction boxes and SIWAREX WP321 weighing modules are installed at the storage silos. With consistent networking, both ensure targeted monitoring of all weighing processes as well as extended diagnostics of the connected load cells.
