The vast majority of solar modules produced worldwide today are based on
technologies developed by Meyer Burger. The company is now taking the next step
and has reinvented its business model: As a manufacturer of high-performance
photovoltaic cells and modules, they use heterojunction / SmartWire technology
they have developed themselves to lead photovoltaics into a new era worldwide.
Industrial Edge combines the data of the Meyer Burger SmartWire stringer
with high-level language apps, Docker container technology and diagnostic
functionality and makes it available for further processing. In the Industrial
Edge Marketplace, both proprietary and third-party apps will be available and
will enable new data analytics functions on an ongoing basis.
