POSCO (formerly Pohang Iron and Steel Company) is a multinational steel-making company headquartered in Pohang, South Korea. POSCO changed existing blower drive systems with SIEMENS equipment.

A combination of SIMOTICS HV motors, including excitation system, together with two SINAMICS GL150 MV frequency converters, the most modern and reliable MV converters for this type of application.
