The fast charging columns are installed autonomously in public space, and the interface to the accounting systems of the operators is based on Windows. The charging and accounting data storing processes must, however, continue to function also in the case of a Windows failure. Further, they shall support all common charging standards.
A separate PC system is not required as, in case of a Windows failure, the controller still supports the charging and data storing processes. The protocols for the different charging standards could be easily integrated in the high-level language via the ODK interface.
