Siemens Large Drives delivered together with its strategic partner Elliott three gas compressor trains.From Siemens side following equipment was delivered:
two 34 MW DOL (=Direct On Line) high voltage motors
a SINAMICS GL150 Medium Voltage converter, which is at present the power-wise largest MV converter in China
a SINAMICS GM150 Medium Voltage converter, designed as special Tandem Solution, which is able to feed a compressor motor from 2 sides. This special design is the first one in the world!
a 15 MW VSD (=Variable Speed Drive) high speed high voltage motor, with a speed range from 70 to 100%, which is the first high speed HV motor in China!
The compressors are designed to run around the clock for at least five years, without the need of any maintenance, etc.
