The project contained the design, manufacturing, delivery of electrical equipment, variable frequency drives (VFDs), instrumentation and control system package.

Futhermore was Siemens responsible for installation, supervision, start-up and commissioning of the SWRO plant Al-Khafji.

• Change of Sec-Power supply during the project execution -> changed from 34.8 kV to 13.8 kV

SWRO plant in Saudi Arabia is the world largest plant of sea water reverse osmosis plant with a capacity of 60,000 m³ per day and an extension for 90,000 m³ per day. The project started in May 2016 was handed over one year later.
