Pirelli was looking for a suitable service partner who was able to minimize planned and unplanned downtimes in order to increase the availability of their plants. Furthermore, they were looking for a solution which will help them to solve problems within minutes during urgent shutdowns and Pirelli also wanted to reduce their warehouse stocks.
Siemens offered a three years´ Service Contract which covers all Siemens drives and PLC includes predictive and preventive maintenance activities for the customers hardware and software on-site. The contract also included an engineer on site who acts as a problem solver during all cases on-site.

Product scope: All type of Siemens drives on site includes SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES, MICROMASTER 4, SINAMICS and PLCs
Reaction time: Immediate reaction on-site
Included services: Preventive / Predictive Maintenance, SIMAIN cleaning, individual on-site trainings, Asset Optimization Services, retrofit business
Rerun: August 2017, August 2020
As thanks to the customized service and maintenance agreement, the customer is able to focus on their basic maintenance tasks, while a Siemens Service expert (on-site) is responsible for the expert maintenance.
