The customers main goal was to take a step further into the direction of digitalization. The company wanted to unify the operating system. Furthermore, communication between the indiviual systems was important to the customer.
Siemens service experts implemented a new operating concept at Ammeraal
Beltech AG which is based on a virtualised WinCC V7 system. Firstly, the vulcanisation system was given a new control system and frequency converter. This is also used for data
management. Furthermore, the Energy Manager Pro software monitors, analyses and optimises the energy consumption in
buildings and systems. In this way, important information on the availability
of networks and IT infrastructures is visible and problems can be determined
before they have an impact on operations.
“I greatly appreciated the fact that we
were always able to communicate with those responsible at Siemens openly and on
an equal footing.”
Stefan Zuppiger, Head Maintenance
Infrastructure and IT at Ammeraal Beltech
