In Gribskov Municipality, they previously struggled with false alarms and expenses for the fire department responding unnecessarily. Additionally, they have requested a solution where there is greater certainty around each individual fire alarm and its status - but without having to use many resources on it. In the municipality, it happens that there have been contractors to perform a task in one of the municipality's buildings, and fire alarms have been turned off, but they may not have been turned on again. This problem is now a thing of the past at the locations where DigiFire has been installed.

Previously, only a third of the fire detectors were tested once a year, while with the new DigiFire solution, all detectors can be tested at the same time and multiple times a year - this is called Disturbance-Free Testing (DFT). 
This form of testing is now active in six of Gribskov Municipality's buildings. The staff in Gribskov Municipality can now detect irregularities before they become real errors, and the maintenance of the fire systems has become proactive. The staff gets real-time updates on detectors through Fire Manage and the Sinteso Connect app. 

Siemens DigiFire is a new, groundbreaking and digital solution for fire alarm systems that, through advanced technology and intelligent solutions, increases safety and makes the maintenance of systems easier. 
The solution has been installed across six different locations in Gribskov Municipality. The solution allows personnel to supplement the physical and mandatory tests with digital tests. These tests is called Disturbance-Free Testing (DFT).   This makes the municipality's buildings safer when the fire alarms are continuously tested, and it also eases the maintenance and monitoring of the fire detectors.
