Introduction of a scalable AMR platform for production logistics (MINICART)
Limited installation space inside the vehicle (Safety encoders are quite big, space is an issue)

The solution is built entirely on standardized SIMOVE modules. dpm’s vehicle transports bulk materials and empty containers between a production cell and a transfer station while supplying new materials to the manufacturing area.
Siemens supported dpm during the design and commissioning phases, including the vehicle safety system and CE certification
SIMATIC S7, SIMOVE ANS+, and SIMOVE Safe Velocity were implemented for autonomous navigation and safe vehicle velocity monitoring
Integration of SIMOVE Safe Velocity software including first-level support during the first year of operation
The AMR used the onboard SIMOVE VDA5050 service and was coordinatedby SIMOVE Fleetmanager as part of a fleet
In addition, the output of SIMOVE Safe Velocity was used to dynamically switch safety fields depending on vehicle speed
