Eichsfelder Energie- und Wasserversorgungs GmbH (EEW for short) supplies around 43 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year to some 7,000 households and businesses throughout the Eichsfeld region. In addition, EEW supplies the Eichsfeld with regional water of excellent quality including the necessary drinking water treatment. EEW is the operating service provider for the drinking water and wastewater association Obere Hahle as well as for the municipality of Gleichen.
