Through
the repowering, our Börger-Breddenberg wind farm will nearly double its
installed capacity and will be able to meet the annual electricity needs of
more than 23,000 three-person households. Siemens provided excellent support
for this flagship project. The integration went smoothly with minimal
interruptions to ongoing operations. Thanks to modern technology and
Electrification X – Asset Management, we can now see a significant improvement
in operational management and energy administration, and we recognize a clear
added value of using digital monitoring solutions.
ENOVA Power GmbH relies on state-of-the-art IoT-enabled medium-voltage technology and now has a continuous overview of the health status of the medium-voltage switchgear. It is particularly noteworthy that the existing medium-voltage switchgear has also been equipped with sensors, so the existing panels can also be included in the health analysis. The package is rounded off with the managed services contract – the system is continuously monitored by Siemens service technicians, and any anomalies can be addressed immediately. With this cutting-edge technology combined with Electrification X – Asset Management, the highest availability of the substation is ensured, which guarantees maximum availability of the medium-voltage switchgear. Additionally, revenue losses due to substation downtime are minimized.
