Siemens supports nahKRAFT GmbH as a partner in the context of the energy transition in Feuchtwangen:

• Deployment of a battery storage system with a capacity of 20 MWh/10 MW to increase the use of local green electricity, to manage peak loads, and to enable flexibility marketing
• Integration of the battery storage system into the existing grid, including electrical and control infrastructure (8DJH gas-insulated 20 kV medium-voltage substation) with Desigo CC building management system, SIMATIC Energy Suite from Siemens, and ELO FLEX (Energy Load Optimization Flexibility) and ELO PDL (Peak Demand Limiting)
• Desigo Uptime fault management, performance monitoring with ELO FLEX
• Partnership-based incentive system to optimize revenue streams
