The new annealing lehr from Grenzebach is expected to have an energy consumption of up to 70 percent lower than previous generations. A coordinated system from Siemens comprising SIMATIC S7-1500 controller, SINAMICS S120 and G120 drives, and SIMOTICS motors support the annealing lehr with a flexible annealing point, improved process control, and significant reduction in power consumption.
