Ministry of Industry (MoIT) has initiative to have one pilot project of Implementation I4.0 in F&B Industry. PT.Pagilaran was selected as target F&B company. PT. Pagilaran is one of business unit belong to University Gajah Mada (UGM). Siemens was helping MoIT to generate the specification. The implementation shall involve the UGM.

The aim of the pilot installation is the proof of concept for the use of I4.0 in a highly volatile processing plant, which depends on changing raw material intake and also depends on weather conditions. It is important to not only gather data, but to analyse and control the plant for constant processing conditions. Main target for the customer is reduction of energy consumption and by this reduction of CO2 footprint.
