  • Energy demand increases due to the expansion of the greenhouse from 1.5 to 2.3 ha. 
  • High costs for electricity and heat as well as for technical CO2 used for fertilization. 
  • Goal: automated and flexible energy supply to improve CO2 balance and focus on core business.
Optimization of the energy center of the greenhouse with superordinate energy management system as a turnkey solution: 
  • 2 x 50 kW CHP with optimized operation (self-supply and grid feed).
  • Installation of 30 kWp photovoltaics on the roof area.
  • 600 m³ heat storage for flexible operation of the heat generators and optimization of the fertilization behavior.
  • Integration of subsidies, savings guarantee with full service contract over 8 years.
  • Building management platform: Desigo CC
  • Cloud-based energy and asset management platform: Navigator
  • Building automation: Desigo PX
