For the construction of their new facility in Pinzgau, Maishofen, Transgourmet sought a competent project partner for all security-related trades. A central concern was to implement a comprehensive security solution that would bring all security systems up to the latest state of the art. Particularly important to Transgourmet was local support and on-site presence in the Pinzgau region. The goal was to create a holistic security concept that ensures protection against unauthorized access, and includes modern fire alarm systems (automatic and manual detectors), direct forwarding of emergency calls to the fire brigade, and video surveillance of the entire premises. Another strategic objective was the development of a future-proof and scalable solution that could be easily rolled out to other locations.

Siemens has comprehensively met all these requirements and implemented a tailored security solution for the new Transgourmet facility in Maishofen. As part of this project, the following safety and security systems were installed:

1. The FC2030 fire alarm system with 455 automatic and 25 manual call points, including direct forwarding of emergency calls to the fire brigade via SINET-Type1-IP transmissions to the Salzburg fire department.
2. The SiPass access control system, installed across the entire premises and within the building, ensuring that no unauthorized persons gain access.
3. An intruder alarm system with forwarding of emergency calls to the police, as well as video surveillance of the entire premises, promising protection in case of an emergency.
