Siemens Xcelerator is an open digital business platform that accelerates digital transformation easier, faster and at scale.
The primary objectives of the project were to:
ensure compliance with normative and legislative requirements;
create transparency through continuous energy reporting;
identify potential energy-saving opportunities;
improve overall energy efficiency throughout the facility.
The implemented solution includes Desigo CC as the building management system (BMS) and control platform. SENTRON Powermanager was installed as a standalone energy monitoring solution. Approximately 240 measuring devices are in operation, mainly SENTRON PAC4200 and PAC2200 models, including PAC2200 CLP units for third-party energy allocation. For medium-voltage measurements, SICAM Q100 is used. The system enables comprehensive monitoring of production lines, chillers, and other critical infrastructure. All collected data is stored and processed using a SQL Server database.
The system is also designed with future scalability in mind, including the potential to develop towards peak shaving to further optimize energy usage and reduce costs.

The system architecture supports future developments such as peak shaving and integrates over 240 measuring devices, ensuring transparency, compliance, and efficiency.
