Objectives: The challenges were to electrify the entire vehicle fleet to reduce environmental impact, unify tools to make life easier for operators and maintenance personnel, and seamlessly connect information from different systems to enhance daily operations and maintenance.

This project aims to create an Integrated Smart Energy and Monitoring System that enhances energy efficiency, operational effectiveness, and security by combining Solar Installation, Exploitation Assistance System, EV Chargers, Electric Buses, Lighting, Thermal Cameras, and Substation Monitoring.
WinCC OA was the perfect solution thanks to its scalability, extensive range of protocols and its intuitive, user-friendly graphical interface. Additionally, the capability to use API REST, API SOAP, and HTTP for interfacing with third-party software enabled the customer to seamlessly integrate various systems into a single WinCC OA project.
