The impregnation process generally changes the fabric's surface and gives it more resistant properties. Increasing automation is leading to complex systems requiring data-driven performance management support. The machine must track the production of the good parts and identify the factors that need a second pass. There is no tracking of specific process data.

By connecting the plant to Insights Hub, there is an increase in the quality of the data, which means that problems that occur on complex machines can be tracked in more detail. In the dashboard view, all product and process data can be seen, so when errors are present, the user is quickly notified of them. Also through the value stream view each product type can be tracked and it can be seen where the problem exists.
