Portfolio: Digital Twin and Industrial Cybersecurity The Digital Twin portfolio helped Spinnova in accelerating their transition from a virtual to real plant, by, for example, training the operators before the line was built. The Industrial Cybersecurity portfolio helped Spinnova to protect it's own uniqe portfolio and intellectual property, as well as the data and the production process itself.

digital worlds, Spinnova is ready to fundamentally change the footprint of

Faster time to market: The factory is simulated using a Digital Twin that
includes all lines, machines, production areas, recipe information and
material flows. These simulations include what if-scenarios, optimizations
and bottleneck discovery to shorten the time needed to commission the factory
and train operators before production started.
Consistent quality: Spinnova uses a Digital Twin of the product to
research, design, optimize and align the final product formulations. This
ensures consistent quality from raw material to the refining, mixing,
spinning, drying and winding process all the way to the finished fiber that
can be woven into other natural materials for clothing or outdoor gear.
Increase machine uptime and minimize errors: By converging information
technology (IT) and operational technology (OT), Spinnova can collect,
process and analyze operational data in real-time. Data-driven decisions from
this convergence allow Spinnova to optimize the energy efficiency of the
machine line, minimize production errors and increase machine uptime.
