Stadtwerke Forchheim GmbH
Forchheim Germany
Stadtwerke Forchheim
operates the energy supply network for the City of Forchheim, Germany, and is
actively expanding it to ensure reliable supply. As part of this effort, an
additional feed-in will specifically strengthen the 20 kV city network. Currently,
Forchheim's distribution network is supplied by two 31.5 MVA transformers
operated by Bayernwerk Netz GmbH. The changing requirements for the
distribution network necessitate a second connection to the higher-level
network. For this purpose, a new substation, Forchheim West, is being
constructed in collaboration with Bayernwerk GmbH. This project includes the
technical equipment of the new switchgear building for the 20 kV switchgear on
the site of the new Forchheim West substation.
