Siemens Croatia has signed a contract with Strabag AG for a complete package of electrical engineering and automation for two wastewater treatment plants in Croatia: WWTP Oroslavje (36,940 people equivalents) and WWTP Zlatar Bistrica (14,690 p.e.). Strabag AG is the main contractor for these two plants with design and build contract including trial operation. 
The scope of delivery includes the development of preliminary, main and detailed design, delivery and installation of electrical and automation equipment and systems, connection, testing and commissioning. For the first time Siemens will implement gProms for the online simulation and optimization of wastewater treatment processes.
  • Medium voltage switchgear for secondary distribution of gas-insulated SF6 block 8DJH ·     Solutions from Sirius and Sentron program e.g. 3WA compact circuit breakers, 3RV55 soft start devices and Sinamics G120X frequency converters 
  • Monitoring and control system based on WinCC and Simatic S7-1500 PLC 
  • Siemens instrumentation equipment and Hach analytical equipment 
  • gPROMS Modelling Tool for simulating various scenarios and optimizing operation
  • strong and early co-operation between civil, mechanical and automation engineering 
  • will to apply newest standard products and innovative digital-twin technology
