The Austrian toolmaker Haidlmair has commissioned one of the world's most modern CNC systems at its main plan in Nußbach. Four Sinumerik 840D sl-controlled DMG Mori DMU 80 P duoBLOCKs are integrated into a cluster, which can be fully automatically loaded with machining jobs for up to four days. The system demonstrates what is important in such forward-looking projects: the networking capability of components and project partners.
