CURTI presents a division that deals with automatic packaging machines for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food markets. For the future, CURTI aims to build green machines that are less and less energy intensive and can use recyclable packaging materials.
The A330C horizontal cartoning machine offers the market several distinctive features: 
  • balcony structure attentive to clean design
  • electronic adjustments and timing, opening and forming of the “positive” carton 
  • management of a wide range of products (blister packs, bottles, bags)
  • guided format change operations 
  • energy saving oriented design 
In this regard, Siemens' outputs such as the the controller S7-1516-T and Sinamics S120 drives enabled simple logic operations and the management of advanced motion control functions.
In developing the hardware and software architecture of the A330C, the full support of Siemens technicians has been essential. Moreover, thanks to the use of the SIM Advanced PLC available on the TIA PORTAL, debugging and testing activities were easily carried out in simulation.
