CAM designs, creates and sells automatic machines and complete packaging lines. It boasts a structure distributed throughout the world consisting of 15 production plants, 19 sales offices and 15 service centres.
CAM has designed a power supply called CGE that is able to interpose lengthwise and transverse tier sheets, creating a protection grid. The main objectives of the project were to build a reliable and user-friendly system, especially for the end customer’s line operators.Thanks to the partnership with Siemens, it was also possible to incorporate all the functions of the CFR21 and SCADA standards in a fully integrated “TIA Portal” system.
Thanks to the PLC ET 200SP Open Controller and the IFP 1500 monitors, in addition to the machine software, all the functions of the CFR21 and SCADA standards could be fully included in the “TIA Portal” system.
CAM deals with the production of automatic machines and complete packaging lines in Pianoro (BO). Moreover, it boasts a structure throughout the world made of 15 production plants, 19 sales offices and 15 service centres.
