smopi® - Multi Chargepoint Solution GmbH is dedicated to the production and distribution of certified charging systems in e-mobility with a focus on the German-speaking market. smopi® is based on Siemens charging technology and applications as well as other automation components with its unique multi-chargepoint concept.   Challenges for public charging infrastructure:

With the master-slave charging concept based on the Simatic ET 200SP Open Controller, the TM ECC charge controller modules and the TIA application example "eCar Charging Suite", the customer has brought the system, which complies with calibration regulations, to market maturity in co-creation mode with Siemens specialists.

Siemens provides the customer with the appropriate tools to offer a stable, scalable and secure system, to integrate a custody transfer compliant meter (EMH 40) into the application, to perform firmware updates and diagnostics remotely, and to perform maintenance only at one central point - the control cabinet - reducing maintenance costs for operators by 20%.
Based on Simatic and the TIA application example "eCar Charging Suite", smopi® brings the first calibration compliant multi-point charging system solution for the public and semi-public sector in the e-mobility charging infrastructure. The lean, modular and cabinet-based system enables its customers to install 1-10 charging points with up to 22kW AC power supply each.
