CHALLENGE
OptiCept Technologies, which develops methods to extend the
lifespan of food and plants, needs to be able to move quickly from idea to a
finished product when developing their machines.
In the food sector, OptiCept creates more efficient and increased extraction of the raw material, extended shelf life, reduced waste, and better quality in terms of taste, aroma, colour, and nutritional content of the final product, such as olive oil. OptiCept's machines are currently available at several olive oil producers around the world who want to increase yields, improve quality, and achieve more efficient production. - Not only do we get up to 15 per cent more olive oil out of each olive, but we also get higher quality by increasing the amount of vitamins and antioxidants in the oil. In addition, to more extraction and extended shelf life, it is also healthier. In addition, the production process can be accelerated, which saves energy and enables higher capacity in the lines.
