The Lohr switchgear station is the main power supply for the Lohr am Main urban area and needs to be renewed and expanded to ensure the security of supply for the urban area and industrial companies. As part of the new construction of the medium-voltage switchgear, it is planned to replace the existing switchgear with a new SF6 gas-insulated double busbar switchgear. The challenge is to ensure a prompt and smooth process from the technical clarification to the commissioning of the switchgear in order to hand it over ready for operation as quickly as possible.
New 20-bay medium-voltage switchgear NXPLUS C double busbar.
Back-to-back installation (duplex).
New SIPROTEC 5 (7SX85) protection technology.
Pressure diversion channel and therefore no pressure load on the building in the event of a fault and additional maximum personal safety for operating personnel.
Type approval 26th BImSchV, HS-TE test.
Parameterization and commissioning.
New, expandable switchgear.
Reduced maintenance costs thanks to gas-insulated technology.
Increased security of supply thanks to additional outgoing feeders in the Lohr substation, resulting in a better supply to the connected industrial companies and the entire city grid.
