Turn-mill center equipped with SINUMERIK 840D sl  To achieve its goals, SPW has relied since 2020 on a CTX Beta 1250 CT CNC turn-mill complete machining center from DMG MORI with a SINUMERIK 840D sl from Siemens. To achieve the most precise fit, the propeller blade gearing and the components of the propeller hub are machined consistently on one and the same machine. The graphical work step/JobShop programming with ShopTurn/ShopMill simplifies programming on the machine considerably. A comprehensive set of technology functions for turning, milling, and mill-turning optimizes and accelerates all machining steps. For higher productivity, a camera-guided articulated arm robot has been integrated for automated set-up, loading, and unloading.
