The implementation should carry very low risk and require no training for machine operators.
Real-time feedrate control
Based on real-time cutting data from the SINUMERIK control, the feedrate is optimized according to actual machining conditions using Optimize MyMachining /AdaptiveControl (OMM / AC).
After a successful Proof of Concept (PoC), OMM / AC is now in use on five machines, with plans for installation on additional machines.
The reduction in processing time by more than 10% was significant and resolved our capacity bottleneck.
