The company Schleicher Fahrzeugteile decided as early as 2017 to withdraw from the automotive industry. This meant the company was well prepared for the industry's shift toward e-mobility and began actively developing new markets. This created the challenge of optimally managing a wide variety of products and a high level of production depth. With the move to Penzberg, the production was to be completely rebuilt - from the ground up - including shopfloor management and system integration. The goal was maximum flexibility, higher utilization, lower tool costs, and production reliability. A partner was needed who could deliver everything from a single source and allow for future adaptations.
