Aduro
Clean Technologies Inc. (Aduro) develops technologies that have the potential
to make more plastics recyclable, heavy oils more environmentally sustainable,
and renewable fuels more cost-effective. The technology platform is flexible
and transforms end-of-life plastics and viscous bitumen into higher value
materials efficiently and cost-effectively.
The process engineering solution (HydrochemolyticTM Technology
(HCT)) is capable to process diverse feedstock and can be realized in scalable
designed installations. This water-assisted process makes big, stubborn
molecules smaller and more useful.
Aduro is looking for a reliable partner who provides technology and support
worldwide, as they plan to scale and to roll out the process engineering
solution worldwide. Additionally, process engineering consulting is very
helpful to streamline and complete the solution, which is realized on the NGP
Pilot Plant by Zeton, an EPC located in Canada and the Netherlands.
The process
solution will recover and use existing resources responsibly and reduce
resource demands through regeneration, all with as little environmental impact
as possible. Siemens applies valuable
experience from its work with chemical recycling companies, supporting the
scale-up of emerging processes through advanced automation, control, and
digitalization technologies.
The PCS neo system allows for seamless automation across plant modules, secure
remote access, and centralized data acquisition, enabling precise control over
key variables in the Hydrochemolytic™ Technology process. The platform also supports digital twin
development, helping simulate, test, and optimize process conditions virtually
before implementing physical changes. Siemens will also provide
engineering services to support scale-up planning for the Demonstration Plant.

a compelling alternative to conventional recycling methods.
The automation
and digitalization expertise and products from Siemens set the base to scale:
The
comprehensive process consulting expertise in plastic recycling supports Aduro
in designing the next plant size efficiently.
Dedicated
tools for process and fluid dynamic simulation enable to predict the reaction
procedure in advance, thus reducing experimental workflows.
The
PCS neo platform enables real-time visibility, control, and flexibility – those
are key factors in optimizing plant performance and supporting long-term
growth.
Process
instrumentation and analytics seamlessly integrate into the automation setup.
