Electrical components were outdated
Excessive space requirements
Rolling cycle was still set mechanically
A simple mechanical wristwatch contains around 130 parts, the probably most complex watch, the Calibre 89 by Patek Philippe, even contains 1728 components. What is certain is that almost all of them were made with Swiss high-tech. Strausak Mikroverzahnungen AG produces machines that gear or roll even the smallest parts - Siemens products ensure precise process control.
The production process is now controlled by the SIMATIC ET 200SP – the system dimensions are small, and no additional relays are required thanks to the integrated safety function
A SINAMICS S210 servo drive is installed for each of the four SIMOTICS S-1FK2 motors – only a cable to the motor is required
The compactness of the components is ensured by installing the control cabinet in the base – the size of which depends on the control cabinet
Simplified setup process due to the commissioning of SINAMICS S210 drives via web server and an improved hand rest for manual machine loading
Space savings and simplified mounting
Long service life of machine
