We have been searching for a system ensuring a high level of usability. Another important issue for us was that Safety Integrated components are already implemented in the controller to remotely maintain the components.
The fully automated linking of board cutting and profile milling together with the seamless integration of a high-performance multi-blade circular saw has enabled HLF GmbH from Thuringia to considerably increase the efficiency of its entire production process and to gain time and space for necessary maintenance work, future expansions and the return to two-shift operation. Faster engineering and diagnostics
The end-to-end communication from the controller through to the motor supports the remote access during commissioning, operation and maintenance - which reduces travel times and increases the efficiency.
Separate fail-safe hardware is not required for controller and drive. This reduces the wiring effort and increases the machine availability, and the simplified engineering in TIA Portal reduces series costs. In combination with excellent diagnostics, the efficient protection of personnel and machinery increases the availability.
