Objectives: The challenge was very clear: increase the accuracy and efficiency of batch inspection processes. BSH Project Engineers Markus Maier and Stefan Schauberger were responsible for reducing the detection time of component defects at one of the BSH oven manufacturing plants in Traunreut. For that reason, they approached BSH and Inspekto was deployed.

BSH harnessed Inspekto in order to improve quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) in the attempt to save time and labor costs. Their objective was to help meet consumer needs with high-quality appliances. In order to reduce waste and avoid using additional storage space for misaligned batch sizes, frequent inspections of produced parts are necessary. Inspekto delivers on these goals.
Inspekto system set up was easy and recognized the defects, reporting them live for constantly improving quality assurance performance. This supported the main goals of the customer and was implemented in more use cases than originally planned.
