Hinterkopf
Eislingen Germany
Hinterkopf is the world market leader in machines and systems for the production and decoration of tubes, cans and tubes made of aluminium or plastic. The product range includes basic machines, printing and coating units, screw-on machines, drawing and trimming machines, washing systems and storage systems as well as various special machines. Hinterkopf GmbH is a family-run company. Objectives: Hinterkopf was looking for a modern, web-based HMI development tool to implement a completely new user interface and operating concept (in coordination with a design agency) for the digital printing machine for its customers. There were very special ideas, especially for order management. The aim was to achieve a new standard, also for other machines.
With the latest innovation of the digital printing press, Hinterkopf is currently the market leader and can offer the highest print quality of 1800 dpi with a high cycle rate of 200 round bodies per minute with process reliability. The WinCC Unified Runtime is now being used for the first time in this machine, because it allows the specific ideas to be fully implemented for the first time.
What happens behind the screen, this great technology, can be seen at a glance on this HMI.
