Frerichs Glas, with over 200 employees at two locations, is one of Northern Germany’s leading plate glass and plastic finishing specialists. The medium-sized company, headquartered in Verden, was established back in 1876 and has been managed by the Cordes family for more than 100 years. The company has been headed by Simon Cordes and Dr. Jan Wennemer since May 2018. Its innovations include insulating glass for integrating glass and transparent media façades, energy-saving glass, sound-reduction glass, self-cleaning glass and security glass, all-glass installations, shower glass, custom and mass-produced parts made of acrylic glass and polycarbonate for the machine construction industry, and special glasses such as Cleverglas, a full-surface LED illuminated glass.
