The customer wanted to know the real OEE of their CNC machines and measure the performance and the status of machines transparently to enhance the production time. Moreover, HEMA wanted to be able to collect and save real data about the total workpiece count and part-specific workpiece count over the machine and time interval. Also, the maintenance activities should be planned according to the machine situation so that the machine can describe critical parts before a damage.
Siemens offered a service solution through implementing AMC (Analyze my Condition) and AMP (Analyze my Performance) on one pilot machine. Analyze MyPerformance (AMP) AMP is used for a plantwide acquisition and analysis of machine states. After AMP implementation the customer will be able to increase the machine performance by analyzing transparently.
Analyze MyCondition (AMC) AMC is used for the condition-based maintenance of machine tools. After AMC implementation the customer will plan maintenance activities according to machine conditions. The customer monitors various KPIs; once the values are above a critical value, they receive an automatic alarm-email from the machine.
AMP (Analyze My Performance)
Online monitoring machine status, (workpiece,
cycle time, downtime).
The customer analyzed the machine and
recognized he loses time while changing the workpiece.
They forecast to increase machine productivity once the measure is implemented
AMC (Analyze My Condition)
Our service engineer has implemented some critical alarm and fault values for the machine situation during the AMC implementation.
Online monitoring of machine situation for
maintenance activities.
Once the values are above a critical value, the
customer receives an automatic alarm-email from the machine.
