Access Points with remote antennas had to be employed, which even under the harshest of conditions ensure a reliable operation of the local wireless network.
For the wireless network in the warehouse
buildings, IWLAN Access Points SCALANCE W774-1 were installed. A robust design and
minimal susceptibility to dirt, shock, and vibration are distinguishing
characteristics of the devices.
The distributed automation is implemented with
the peripheral system SIMATIC ET 200S.
