Tecnosystem designed a collaborative service bench with camera, robot and WinCC Unified PC RT running on a SIMATIC Microbox PC.  
The robotic arm picks up generic materials from the lower deck, leveraging a camera based vision system which provides item type and positioning information. Then, items are placed on the working bench for machining process.  
Afterward, the items are picked up again by the robot and made available to the human operator inside the collaborative area.  
A fully customized WinCC Unified station, tailored on customer's needs, provides all the process information to the operator involved in the collaborative process.  
In this specific application, it's possible to monitor the camera viewing area, check the realtime robot and the electric plier status and track of relevant process information, such as the cycle time.
