The core of the entire automation is a CPU1513-type Simatic S7-1500. An ET 200MP connected via Profinet is used as the IO system. Special multi-channel controllers connected via Modbus TCP are used to continuously measure and regulate the water quality. Plant control is implemented with two TP1900-type Comfort Panels
